Refund & Cancellation Policy

Refund Policy

  • If you are not satisfied with the service, you may request a full refund within 7 days from the date of payment.
  • Refund requests must be sent to support@gangmentechnologies.com.
  • After 7 days, no refunds will be provided.
  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method.

Cancellation Policy

  • Users may cancel their subscription at any time.
  • Cancellation will stop future renewals.
  • No refunds will be issued after the 7-day refund window.

Terms & Conditions

Privacy Policy

  • Gangmen Technologies Private Limited ("Gangmen", "Company", "we", "our", or "us")
  • respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal information provided
  • through the Gangmen mobile application, website, and related services (the "Platform").
  • This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, process, and protect your
  • information in accordance with applicable laws of India, including the Information
  • Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
  • By accessing or using the Platform, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

  • We may collect the following information during registration and use of the Platform:
  • Full name
  • Mobile number
  • Email address (if provided)
  • User type and business role
  • State, district, taluka, village, and related address information
  • Vehicle, contractor, labour, transporter, factory, and other operational information required for Platform services
  • Profile photograph or selfie (where voluntarily provided or required for verification)
  • We may also collect limited technical information, including:
  • Device information
  • Operating system and application version
  • IP address
  • Login and usage activity
  • Error, diagnostic, and security logs
  • Address information is generally provided by you during registration.
  • We do not collect precise GPS location unless a specific feature explicitly requests it and you grant permission.

2. Identification Number Processing

  • The Platform may require or allow users to provide a 12-digit identification number for account uniqueness, identity verification, and fraud prevention.
  • Such number may be an Aadhaar number or any other 12-digit number voluntarily entered by the user.
  • Providing a genuine Aadhaar number is optional. You may use another 12-digit identifier where the Platform allows, subject to our verification and anti-fraud rules.
  • A 12-digit identification number may be required to create or maintain certain accounts.

Gangmen does not:

  • Perform UIDAI Aadhaar authentication
  • Perform Aadhaar e-KYC
  • Access UIDAI systems or databases
  • Collect Aadhaar card images, scanned copies, or biometric data
  • Account verification, where applicable, is performed through mobile OTP and internal
  • Platform processes, not through UIDAI.

How we handle this number:

  • It may be transmitted to our servers over encrypted connections (HTTPS) for registration, account management, search, and related services.
  • For fraud prevention, uniqueness checks, and security, we may generate and store a secure one-way cryptographic hash and/or limited identifiers (such as masked or last digits) instead of retaining the full number in all systems.
  • During an active registration session, limited information may be temporarily stored on your device to complete the form.

3. Purpose of Processing

  • We use collected information to:
  • Register and manage user accounts
  • Verify account uniqueness and user identity
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and duplicate accounts
  • Operate contracts, slips, transport, labour, factory, and related business workflows
  • Enable communication and transactions between authorized Platform users
  • Process payments and subscriptions where applicable
  • Provide customer support and resolve disputes
  • Improve, secure, and administer the Platform
  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations
  • We do not sell your personal information for marketing purposes.

4. Sharing of Information

  • We may share information only as necessary and lawful, including:
  • Between Platform users (e.g. sugar factories, contractors, transporters, and other connected parties) as required to perform operational services.
  • With service providers such as hosting, payment, SMS/OTP, analytics, or support providers under confidentiality obligations.
  • With authorities when required by law, court order, or government request.
  • To prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents, or harm to rights, safety, or property.
  • We do not share personal information with third parties for their independent marketing use.

5. Data Security

  • We implement reasonable technical, organizational, and administrative safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or misuse.
  • No internet or mobile system can guarantee absolute security. You use the Platform acknowledging inherent risks of electronic transmission.

6. Data Retention

  • We retain information only as long as necessary to:
  • Provide Platform services
  • Meet operational and contractual needs
  • Resolve disputes
  • Prevent fraud
  • Comply with applicable law
  • Thereafter, information may be securely deleted, anonymized, or archived as permitted by law.

7. Your Rights

  • Subject to applicable law, you may request:
  • Access to your personal information
  • Correction of inaccurate information
  • Deletion of eligible information
  • Withdrawal of consent where legally permissible
  • Withdrawal of consent may limit or prevent use of some Platform features.

8. Children's Privacy

  • The Platform is designed for participation in sugar-industry and related business operations.
  • We do not intentionally target or market the Platform to children.
  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate parental or guardian consent where required by applicable law.
  • If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Platform without proper authority, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps in accordance with applicable law.

9. Changes to This Policy

  • We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be published on the Platform and take effect upon publication unless otherwise stated. Material changes may also be notified through the app or other reasonable means.

11. Consent

  • By registering, accessing, or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and agree to the collection, processing, storage, and use of your information as described herein, in addition to our Terms & Conditions.

Location Data Collection and Sharing with Sugar Factories

With the User’s explicit consent, Gangmen Technologies Private Limited (“Gangmen”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) may collect, process, and share the User’s location data, including real-time or periodic GPS location, with the authorised administrator(s) of the Sugar Factory with which the User is registered, associated, or contractually engaged.

This location-sharing feature may apply particularly where the User, including a transporter, labour contractor, harvesting contractor, worker, vehicle operator, or other registered participant, has received an advance payment, work assignment, or contractual engagement directly or indirectly from the concerned Sugar Factory.

  • The User’s location data may be shared with the concerned Sugar Factory solely for legitimate operational purposes, including:
  • Verifying work-related attendance and deployment;
  • Monitoring authorized transportation, harvesting, or field operations;
  • Managing contractual obligations and advance payments;
  • Coordinating manpower, vehicles, contractors, and work assignments;
  • Improving operational transparency and preventing fraud, duplicate engagement, or misuse of advances;
  • Ensuring worker safety and responding to operational emergencies; and
  • Resolving work-related disputes and maintaining appropriate operational records.

Location information will be accessible only to authorised Sugar Factory administrators and other authorised personnel who require such information for the stated purposes. Gangmen does not permit the concerned Sugar Factory to use the User’s location information for unrelated, unauthorised, or unlawful purposes.

Location tracking will be activated only after the User has been provided with appropriate notice and has given valid consent through the Gangmen mobile application or another authorised method. Depending on the nature of the service and the permissions granted by the User, location data may be collected while the application is in use or, where expressly permitted, while it is operating in the background.

The User may withdraw location permission through the application or device settings. However, withdrawing permission may restrict or disable certain location-dependent services, including attendance verification, live work monitoring, transportation tracking, assignment verification, or other services required under the User’s engagement with the concerned Sugar Factory.

We retain location data only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes described above, comply with applicable legal or contractual requirements, resolve disputes, and protect the legitimate rights of the User, the concerned Sugar Factory, and Gangmen. Appropriate technical and organisational safeguards are used to protect location data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, misuse, or loss.
